WE WERE MADE by Leah Lester

NEW RELEASE: "WE WERE MADE": by LEAH. LESTER

Leah Lester's new release conveys a message of purpose, as we were made for the purpose of living a life free from fear and despair. We were made to give of ourselves and for those in need. The lyrics express a purpose beyond simply living a self-centered lifestyle. If we achieve the mission of living beyond  our own selfish desires, but rather for the good of contibuting to helping mankind, especially to those in need, then our lives have fulfilled the law of loving our neighbor as we love ourselves.

When I released this song, I made tribute to the great John Lewis for his contribution and dedication to a life of service to benefit mankind. I was so very insprired by his homegoing services that I immediately went downstairs to the piano and began to write this song. Every song has a story.

Leah's new song We Were Made can be heard and purchased on bandcamp @https://leahspencerhopkins.bandcamp.com/track/we-were-made. Links for streaming networks are forthcoming.

Story behind, Who is on the Lord's Side by Leah Lester

The new album "My Spiritual Journey" will include eight to nine songs. The two songs recently released are Emotional Pain and Who is on the Lord's Side. While I previously explained the story behind Emotional Pain, I did not tell you the story behind Who is on the Lord's Side. That song is a prayer and a song of concern in the midst of our climate in America. The economy, the pandemic, the joblessness, the deceptive lying from our leaders, the racism and much more have alarmed my spirit to question who is on the Lord's side. Someone must stand in the gap; the place of hope and provide the battle against the current willful delusion and deceptions particularly from our leaders. That's the story behind the song. Listen and and pray.
