  The new album "My Spiritual Journey" will include eight to nine songs. The two songs recently released are Emotional Pain and Who is on the Lord's Side. While I previously explained the story behind Emotional Pain, I did not tell you the story behind Who is on the Lord's Side. That song is a prayer and a song of concern in the midst of our climate in America. The economy, the pandemic, the joblessness, the deceptive lying from our leaders, the racism and much more have alarmed my spirit to question who is on the Lord's side. Someone must stand in the gap; the place of hope and provide the battle against the current willful delusion and deceptions particularly from our leaders. That's the story behind the song.      Today I release the song Emotional Pain. So often songs are written but the story of what prompted the writing of the song is never told. I can remember what inspired the writing of my songs as this one particularly was written while I was worshipping in church. This was the first time I have ever written a song while sitting in church and listening to a sermon. I was so compelled to write. The pastor of the church was absent that week and the associate minister preached. Never did I know that God would bless me so vividly as he did on that Sunday. The scriptures were read and I tell you, I started writing and couldn't stop until I finished. This was panoramic for me as I vividly saw the misery of the rejected people. I imagined the people of the town walking with sticks and pounding them on the ground in dismay. They were experiencing grief and as my song says, "how long will men oppress men?"
